On December 25th, 2012 Americans and the world will celebrate the affirmation of their hope and the confirmation of their forgiveness. We know that because of this most cherished of events that our life does indeed have meaning and that our Creator loved us enough to allow His son to be a sacrificed that our sins be “washed away“.
Please stop and think about that! How many of us would sacrifice our only child to save foul-natured men while still in their sins? The thief, the murderer, the adulterer – one and all – are included in this promise of hope. What an incredible love; and all we need do is believe and commit to that truth.
Incidentally, when we talk about hope we refer neither to the empty promise of the atheist nor the sugary psycho-babble served up, but the learned secular-humanist community. We speak instead of a true hope; one that leaves us with a future that can be readily found and described in the direction manual that was commissioned by our Creator. This collection of wisdom which we refer to as the Bible was left behind for our assistance and is not only sweet to the soul but also provides a knowledge that enables the hope of which we speak.
We at Minutemen United wish one and all the very best of Christmas celebrations. We join you in prayer that this would be the very Christmas that finds those nearest you having finally discarded the siren song of the natural man and received the things of the spirit. We embrace and pray for those who have lost closely held loved ones during this year and pray as well for those that have encountered other seemingly hopeless situations.
“May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His light shine upon you”…one and all.
In His name.
