It’s not the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last. Coach Dave Daubenmire of Pass the Salt Ministries with much needed financial and personnel assistance of Minutemen United as well as a Columbus, Ohio Inner-city Pastor’s Alliance, will be taking much needed food stuffs to Moore, Oklahoma this weekend. The men and foodstuffs will be headed west Thursday on one of what is expected to be many planned relief visits to the storm ravaged area. “We are looking forward to setting up a beach head with as many churches in the Oklahoma area as possible” according to Coach Daubenmire.
Minutemen and Pass the Salt Ministries are seasoned veterans when it comes to offering assistance in time of natural disasters according to Jim Harrison of Minutemen United. “We have been instrumental in several outreaches in the past“. In fact, Pass the Salt and Minutemen United were some of the first boots on the ground with foodstuffs and other assistance during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and were also there for victims of Hurricane Rita. Pass the Salt Ministries was also most recently assisting the needy in Joplin, MO.
May their tribe increase.
